First Impressions

Most wallets in the $25 to $30 range feel like they’ll fall apart within a year. The Calvin Klein RFID bifold surprised me. The leather has a textured pebble grain finish thats actually pleasant to hold, and it doesnt have that cheap synthetic smell some budget wallets come with.

It’s slim enough to fit in a front pocket without creating a weird bulge, which was the main thing I cared about. The white/cream color is a bold pick for a wallet, but it looks sharp with lighter clothing. Fair warning though, lighter leather shows wear faster than black or brown would.

What’s Actually Inside

You get six card slots on the left side, stacked in two columns of three. The right side has a clear ID window and two additional slip pockets behind it. There’s a standard bill compartment in the center. Nothing fancy, but the layout makes sense and I could fit everything I normally carry without stuffing cards in sideways.

The RFID blocking is the real selling point here. Calvin Klein built it into the lining so your contactless cards cant get skimmed while the wallet’s in your pocket. I tested it with my credit card against a reader and it blocked the signal every time. Not all wallets at this price include that.

Build Quality

The stitching is tight and even around the edges. After a couple weeks of daily use the leather softened up a bit but held its shape. The card slots are snug at first, which I actually prefer since it means cards wont slide out when the wallet’s open. They loosen just enough after a few days of use.

One thing worth mentioning: this is genuine leather, not bonded or faux. At $27, thats a better material than what most competitors offer. The textured grain also helps hide minor scuffs compared to smooth leather.

What We Liked

  • RFID blocking actually works, tested with contactless reader
  • Genuine leather at a $27 price point
  • Slim enough for front pocket carry
  • Card slots are snug without being impossible to use
  • Clean minimal design without giant logos

What Could Be Better

  • White leather shows dirt and wear faster
  • Only 6 card slots, heavy card carriers might need more

Common Questions

Does the RFID blocking work with all cards?

It blocks 13.56 MHz signals which covers most contactless credit and debit cards. It wont block building access cards that run on different frequencies.

How many cards can it realistically hold?

I fit 8 cards total (6 in slots, 2 in slip pockets) plus my license in the ID window and about 10 bills. Beyond that it starts to get bulky.

Will the white leather stain easily?

Lighter leather does pick up dirt faster. A leather conditioner every few months helps. If you’re rough on wallets, go with the black or brown version instead.

The Verdict

For $27, this is a solid wallet. The RFID blocking works, the leather is genuine and feels good, and it holds a reasonable amount of cards without getting fat. The white color isnt for everyone but it looks clean if you take care of it. If you want the same wallet with less maintenance, grab the black version. Either way, it punches above its price.
