Key Features

🔇

98.5% Noise Reduction

Adaptive ANC that adjusts to your ear shape and environment. Blocks out most office chatter and commute noise without cranking volume.

🔋

50 Hour Total Battery

10 hours per charge in the buds, 50 hours total with the case. Thats roughly a full work week without reaching for a charger.

🎵

Hi-Res Audio Certified

LDAC codec support means you actually get higher quality streaming if your phone supports it. Noticeable step up from standard Bluetooth audio.

📱

Multipoint Connection

Connect to two devices at once. Switch between your laptop and phone without the disconnect-reconnect dance every time.

Our Experience

We grabbed the Liberty 4 NC after seeing them pop up on basically every “best budget earbuds” list this year, and after a few weeks of daily use they mostly live up to the hype. The ANC is legit good — not quite Sony XM5 territory but way better than you’d expect at $70. Office AC hum disappears completely. Voices get knocked down to a low murmur.

Sound quality is solid across the board. Bass is punchy without being bloated, mids are clear enough for podcasts, and the highs dont get harsh at volume. The Soundcore app lets you EQ things to your taste which is a nice touch. We spent more time in the app than expected, theres a hearing test that customizes the sound profile to your ears.

The fit is where things get personal. They come with like 9 different ear tip sizes which helps, but the buds themselves are on the larger side. If you have smaller ears you might find them sticking out more than youd like. For us they stayed put during walks and light workouts but we wouldnt trust them for running. Call quality is decent, people said we sounded clear enough on calls but nothing exceptional.

Pros & Cons

What We Liked

  • ANC performance punches way above the $70 price tag
  • 50 hour battery with the case is genuinely impressive
  • LDAC support for higher quality audio streaming
  • Wireless charging case — no fumbling with cables

Worth Knowing

  • Buds are on the bigger side, might not fit smaller ears well
  • Touch controls can be overly sensitive sometimes
  • No IP rating listed so keep them away from heavy rain

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these work with iPhone?

Yes, they work with any Bluetooth device. You wont get LDAC on iPhone since Apple doesnt support it, but everything else including ANC and the Soundcore app works fine.

Can you use just one earbud at a time?

Yep, either bud works independently. Good for calls when you want to keep one ear open.

How’s the microphone for calls?

Decent for indoor calls. Outdoors with wind its not great but thats true of most earbuds in this range. People could hear us fine in quiet rooms.

Are these good for working out?

They stay put for walking and light gym work. For running or intense cardio we’d go with something that has ear hooks or a more secure sport fit.

Final Verdict

At $70 the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC deliver ANC thats genuinely close to earbuds costing twice as much, and the 50 hour battery with wireless charging is hard to argue with. Sound quality with LDAC is a real step up if you have an Android phone. The main knock is the fit — they’re chunky earbuds and if you have smaller ears you’ll want to try all 9 tip sizes before giving up. But for most people looking for solid ANC without dropping $200+ on Sony or Bose, these are the ones to beat right now. Over 25,000 Amazon reviews and a 4.2 average backs that up.
