SwitchBot Mini Robot Vacuum K10+ Review: The Tiny Vacuum That Fits Where Others Can’t

Key Features
Ultra-Compact Size
Just 9.8 inches across, roughly the size of a dinner plate. Fits under furniture and into corners that full-size robots can’t reach.
Auto-Empty Station
Empties itself into a sealed dust bag that lasts about 70 days. You barely have to think about maintenance.
48 dB Quiet Mode
Quieter than a conversation. You can run it at night or during calls without anyone noticing.
Smart Mapping
LiDAR navigation maps your home and lets you set room-specific schedules and no-go zones through the SwitchBot app.
Our Experience
Robot vacuums keep getting bigger and more expensive. SwitchBot went the opposite direction with the K10+, and it turns out that’s exactly what a lot of people need. This thing is tiny, noticeably smaller than every other robot vac on the market, and that size advantage translates directly into real cleaning performance in small apartments, cluttered rooms, and tight spaces.
It slid under our couch (which has a 3.5-inch clearance) without getting stuck. It navigated between dining chair legs on the first try. Full-size robots either get stuck or skip these areas entirely. If your home has tight furniture gaps, this is probably the first robot vacuum that’ll actually clean them.
Suction is 2,500Pa, which is moderate by 2026 standards. It handles dust, pet hair, and light debris on hard floors with no issues. On carpet, it does a decent job on low-pile but struggles with thicker rugs. That’s the trade-off for the compact motor.
The auto-empty dock is the feature that makes this feel premium. After each clean, it docks and empties itself into a sealed bag. We went about two months before needing to swap the bag. At 48 dB in quiet mode, it’s barely audible, we ran it during a Zoom call with no complaints.

Final Verdict
The SwitchBot K10+ carves out a real niche by being the robot vacuum for small spaces and tight furniture. If you’ve tried a full-size robot and it kept getting stuck or missing spots, this compact alternative handles exactly those problem areas. The auto-empty station and quiet operation push it from novelty into daily-driver territory. At $180, it’s a smart buy for apartments, studios, or any home where space is tight.
