Amazfit Cheetah Pro Review: Sub-$250 Sport Watch With Dual-Band GPS and AMOLED

Key Features
Dual-Band GPS
MaxTrack pulls signal from six satellite systems on two bands, so the route on your wrist matches the road you actually ran.
150+ Sport Modes
Running gets the headlines, but the watch covers cycling, hiking, swim, and a long list of indoor and gym options.
Zepp Coach AI
An on-watch coach that adapts pace targets and recovery days based on what you actually did the week before.
Titanium & Polymer Build
Titanium alloy bezel paired with a fiber-reinforced polymer body keeps the whole package under 35 grams.
Our Experience
The Cheetah Pro looks the part the moment you slip it on. The titanium bezel catches light without being flashy, the 1.45-inch AMOLED is bright enough that you can read pace data in midday sun, and the strap is the rare silicone band that does not turn into a sweat trap on a long run. We took it out for a 12-mile loop with a few canopy sections and a lot of wind, and the GPS lock held the line through trees that usually scramble cheaper watches.
Zepp Coach is more interesting than we expected. It is not going to replace a real coach, but the rolling load suggestions actually nudged us to dial back on a planned tempo session after a hard week, and the recovery-day prompts felt informed rather than generic. Notifications, music control, and contactless payment all work, though the Pro is more athlete-watch than smartwatch.
The sweet spot here is the price. At around $230 you get the kind of multi-band GPS, AMOLED brightness, and battery life that used to live in $500 territory. If you run, ride, or hike with any regularity, this watch punches above its tag.

Final Verdict
For the runner, cyclist, or trail-walker who wants real multi-band GPS and an AMOLED screen without spending $400 plus, the Amazfit Cheetah Pro is one of the best deals on the market. It will not replace a top-tier smartwatch for app stuff, but as a focused outdoor sport watch under $250 it is hard to beat.
