Key Features

🎵

Snapdragon Sound + LDAC

Qualcomm aptX Lossless codec with LDAC support. You can actually hear the difference on Tidal and Apple Music lossless tracks.

🔇

Adaptive Hybrid ANC

Six mic setup with AI powered noise cancellation that adjusts to your environment. Blocks out most office and commute noise without pressure.

🔋

52 Hours Total Battery

About 11 hours per charge with the case holding 4 more full charges. We went almost two weeks without plugging in the case.

📱

Bluetooth 5.4

Latest Bluetooth with multipoint connection. Switch between phone and laptop without manual re-pairing. In ear detection pauses music when you pop one out.

Our Experience

We’ve been through a lot of budget earbuds. Most of them sound fine for podcasts but fall apart the second you throw on anything with real bass or detail. The Air Pro 4 are different.

Out of the box, the default tuning is warm with a slight bass bump which works great for most music. But switch on LDAC mode with a lossless source and these things open up in a way you dont expect from $53 earbuds. The mids are clear enough to pick out individual instruments in a mix, and the treble has sparkle without getting harsh. Not saying they compete with $200 Sony XM5s, but the gap is smaller than the price difference suggests.

The ANC is solid. Not class leading by any stretch, but it knocked out about 70 to 80 percent of office background noise and airplane cabin drone. The transparency mode is natural sounding which is a nice bonus. Call quality surprised us too, the 6 mic array with AI filtering meant the other end could hear us clearly even walking down a busy street. Battery life is the real kicker though. We used these about 3 hours a day and didn’t touch the USB-C cable for 12 days. Thats wild for this price point.

Pros & Cons

What We Liked

  • Sound quality punches way above $53, especially with LDAC enabled
  • 52 hour total battery is absurd for this price
  • ANC works well enough for commuting and office use
  • Multipoint Bluetooth 5.4 switches between devices smoothly

Worth Knowing

  • Fit can be tricky, try all the included tip sizes before giving up
  • No wireless charging on the case
  • App is functional but the UI feels clunky

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these work with iPhone or just Android?

They work with both. You’ll get AAC on iPhone which still sounds good. LDAC and aptX are available on most Android phones for higher quality streaming.

How’s the noise cancellation compared to AirPods Pro?

Honestly about 70 percent as good. AirPods Pro still win on ANC strength, but the Air Pro 4 block enough noise for daily commutes and open offices. For a third of the price, thats a fair trade.

Can I use just one earbud at a time?

Yes, either bud works independently in mono mode. Handy for calls or when you need to keep one ear open.

Are they comfortable for long listening sessions?

We wore them for 3 to 4 hour stretches with no discomfort. They’re lighter than most ANC earbuds at about 5.2g per bud. Just make sure you find the right ear tip size first.

Final Verdict

The EarFun Air Pro 4 are probably the best value in wireless earbuds right now. For $53 you’re getting Snapdragon Sound with LDAC, decent ANC, 52 hours of battery, and Bluetooth 5.4 multipoint. The sound quality genuinely surprised us on lossless tracks and the battery life is borderline ridiculous. Main compromises are no wireless charging and the app needs work, but at this price those feel like nitpicks. If you’re spending $50 to $60 on earbuds, these should be at the top of your list.
