The trick: get the medium size, not the large. The large is overkill and bulky. The medium fits a power brick, two cables, AirPods case, and a hard drive without bulging out.

A pack of stretchy silicone covers in different sizes. Stretch them over a bowl, can, or fruit half and you’ve got an airtight seal without plastic wrap. Reusable forever. The pack of 14 is about $12 and replaces about a year of cling film.
Best size for daily use is the 6 inch. Use it on opened cans of beans, half-cut onions, leftover bowls of soup. The bigger sizes get used less but are clutch when needed.
3. Vermont Country Store Cedar Hangers (5-pack)
Real cedar, not just cedar-scented plastic. Keep moths away from wool and cashmere, smell incredible, last forever (just sand them lightly when the smell fades). Five hangers for around $20.
Hang them every 8 to 10 inches in a closet section with sweaters and you’ll never lose another expensive pullover to moth holes. Replaces stinky mothballs and the lavender sachets that quit working in two months.

Get the 7 inch height for most people. The 9 inch is for very tall folks or specific posture issues.

The cheapest way to make any “dumb” lamp or appliance smart. Plug into outlet, plug lamp into plug, control with phone or schedule. About $25 for four.
Use cases that justify the cost: lamps on auto-on at sunset, coffee maker on a 6:45 AM schedule, hair tools off-timer if you’re the kind of person who panics about whether you unplugged the curling iron.

The electrolyte powder that actually works for hangovers, hot days, post-workout. The 16 stick variety pack runs about $25. Lemon-lime is the only flavor we like – the rest are too sweet.
Mix with about 16oz cold water, drink fast. There’s an obvious “oh I needed that” moment after about 10 minutes when you’re dehydrated. Liquid IV gets you there faster than plain water.
10. Black Diamond Spot 400 Headlamp
