NTONPOWER Travel Power Strip Review: A Tiny Cruise-Approved Charging Hub Under $15

Key Features
7 Ports In a 4-Inch Square
Three AC outlets, two USB-A, two USB-C. Charge a laptop, phone, watch, kindle, and camera off one wall outlet without thinking.
Cruise-Approved (No Surge)
Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and most other lines confiscate surge protectors at boarding. This one has none, so it sails through inspection.
Wrap-Around 4ft Cord
The flat extension cord coils around the body so the whole thing fits in a packing cube. No tangled rats nest at the bottom of your suitcase.
1250W Capacity
Enough headroom for a laptop charger, a hair dryer on low, or a portable kettle. Tested both at the gate and in a hotel room.
Our Experience
We threw this in a carry-on for a week of travel and forgot it was there. That is the whole pitch. It sits flat against the hotel wall, the cord wraps around itself for storage, and every device we owned charged at once off a single outlet.
The USB-C ports actually push real wattage. We charged a 13-inch MacBook Air off one of them overnight and woke up to 100%. Most travel strips give you USB-C in name only and cap at 5 watts, this one does not.
The big win is cruise compatibility. Cruise cabins typically have one or two outlets and confiscate surge-protected strips at the gangway because of fire risk. NTONPOWER built this without surge protection on purpose, and we have watched the security scan wave it through three times.
Pros & Cons
What We Liked
- 7 ports on a footprint smaller than a deck of cards
- USB-C actually fast, handles laptops, not just phones
- Cruise-line safe by design (no surge protection)
- Wrap-around cord stays neat in a packing cube
Worth Knowing
- No surge protection means do not use it at home with sensitive electronics
- Outlets are tightly spaced, bulky wall warts will block neighbors
- White plastic shows scuffs after a few trips

Final Verdict
For under $15 you get a charging hub that fits in your jacket pocket, powers seven things at once, and is welcome on every cruise ship. If you travel more than twice a year, this earns its spot in the carry-on. If you mainly stay home, get a surge protector instead.
